I made a suggestion recently at Full Council (and here) that assurances are possibly being made to Tory councillors over school closures. A suggestion, not an allegation or an accusation, based on rumours heard by myself and other opposition councillors in recent weeks. After I was howled down at Full Council by some of the Tory Group for making this suggestion, I also remarked here that the truth can hurt when it is being hidden.
The Council leadership is now getting very agitated about this. I wonder why ?
There is an old saying from Hamlet, '(they) doth protest too much, methinks'.

You politicians eh Geoff. Labour Cabinet Ministers are campaigning to 'save' local post offices in their own constituencies. This tells you all you need to know about politics and politicians!
Thinking about how bright some of them are they are probably under orders from the Boy Blunder to keep their mouths shut!
Better to keep quiet and be thought a fool than to open it and confirm it!
What is wrong with the silent majority - they know that their leader is 'economical with the truth'. Can't they see through him yet? The rest of the Island can....
